The company is the biggest ginning operation in Greece from the prospect of banking business profits but even in fixed installations.
Its activity started in the decade of '50 in the municipality of Biotia. In 1960 it was expanded in Macedonia and in 1990 in Thessaloniki where the main production occurs today.
The operation during the decade of 70 and 80 treated 15.000 tones of cottonseed yearly, whereas today it exceeds the 85.000 tones.
It holds 5 ginning units of dynamic elaboration of 2.800 tones daily, 2 in Thessaloniki, 2 in Farsala and one in Larisa, where is the center of the quantitative as well as the qualitative production. Also holds an oil unit with dynamic elaboration of 300 tones of cottonseed daily.
